Current Zone Teams

South Australia had 3 teams compete at the 2019 ZLTAC championships which was held at Laserzone on the Sunshine Coast. These teams train hard each week to place as highly as possible and earn South Australia the rights to send as many teams as possible to the next year’s competition.

Adelaide Apex

Apex is a team with a little history having been around with a similar lineup since 2017. Currently listed as South Australia’s “A” team. This team contains 2 players from SA’s 3rd place team in 2015 and players who were just starting out around that time making them South Australia’s powerhouse. The breakup of the Immortals from last year saw Apex pick up Caleb and Chuch making this a team to watch out for in 2019.

Adelaide Aftershock

Aftershock started in Albury 2018 and have kept a very similar lineup for 2019. This team is currently listed as South Australia’s “B” team. This team comprises SA’s youngsters, in it for fun just as much as they are to prove themselves as SA’s future headliners. This year they have picked up Wardy who used to play for Wagga and has been an excellent fit with the rest of the team.

This team has had a fairly consistent couple of core players over the past few years but the team name has changed a bit over the years. This team is currently listed as SA’s “C” team and the core players typically are involved in training up the younger\newer players to compete at higher levels of play. This is where new players will often start out before being drafted to another team. This year has seen the addition of Snubbs and Tilly who both will be attending their first ZLTAC having only started at the beginning of this year.
